Brampton Mill-Cambridgeshire's hidden little gem 18 years 4 months ago #11467

Has you all will know East-anglia is not the place to do whitewater, well there are a few places hidden away where you least expect!!

Brampton Mill is the place to be!!! is a nice little weir on the rive Ouse just outside Huntingdon, when its open theres a very nice playwave there but it all depends on the water levels(its a hit'n'miss)

It's 12-15ft weir with a fast jet off water you can do most mover like Flatspins, blunts, loops, and when its high water you can cartwheel untill you feel sick.

I've paddled this little gem for about 17 years as its only a mile away and ive been i touch with the access officer from the NRA and they aint bothered unless there loads off people there blocking the carpark to the ONSITE pub:lol:

when i can figure out how to post pic's i will asap:think:

if you want to add a picture to your post like.........

1. you need to first host the picture. it has to be stored online so it can be viewed at all times by people.

2. choose your free online picture host. www.fotki.com or www.photobucket.com can be used.

3. once you have follwed the onscreen steps on the site, copy the link to the picture. if its not under the thumbnail right click the picture and copy the URL (address) of the picture.

4. you then paste the address into your post. the address of the kayak is www.kokopelliriverguides.com/kayak-rafti...es/kayak-rentals.jpg

5. if you only post the link you will only get a link. you need to enclose it in Image tags. you can use the button at the top of the window or just type them. [img] and [/img]

6. these image tags make the picture viewable in the post. click the IMG button or type [img] then paste the URL then click the IMG button again or type [/img]

like so....
(when the spaces between the tags and the URL are removed it will look like below)
