Hi,
I've just bought a brand spanking new CR250 and am busy tweaking it. The problem being, there are no instructions with it! I've contacted liquid logic ( guess they are on holiday!) and contacted the u.k importers, but am really struggling with some of the adjustments.
1) How do you move the seat? Looked everywhere for a screw or bolt, but cant find anything!
2) I've heard that you can move the thigh braces forwards and backwards( which I can do), but I've also been told that they can move in and out ( ie lock in towards your thighs)
3) I take it that the foam blacks just shove into the 'cone of comfort', any tips on fitting them correctly ( do i need to glue them in?)

I've only ever owned pyranha's in the past and they come with a useful guide, any suggestions would be gratefuly recieved ( I really want to paddle it over christmas).

Merry Christmas!

Yeah,
So, take the front foam block out only, to make the seat easier to move. Next, you have to loosen the bolts that are in the cockpit rim (one on each side). DON'T loosen the bolts more than 2-3 turns or the bolt will come out of the nut and then you will need some ninja moves to get it back in. So... loosen the bolt no more than 2-3 turns then you can move the seat back of forth. When your done tighten the bolts back up and then re-insert the foam block.

If your bolt comes out (DON'T over turn the bolt and let this happen, it's a pain in the ass) go to this link for an explination from Shane Benedict:

You just need one poitive screw driver to loosen the seat bolts i had my seat in a 125 all the way forward and then tightened it back up. This made the boat surf and play alot better as the weight was in a better position for me.

In my ronin I have left the seat where it came as it works well and the thigh braces are slid right forward.

On some of the newer boats theres some notches above the main slide postioning for the thight braces to drop them down my CR didnt have them and didnt need them the ronins got them but again doesnt need them as its really tight as it is.

On the footrest if theres alot of foam in there and its jammed in then it should be ok if you swim alot or theres not much in then its probably worth glueing it in with contact adhesive such as evo-stick!

I hope you enjoy your CR there a nice river runner a great boat for the alps I have had alot of fun in mine HAve a good new year
