michielv Offline Platinum Member Posts: 285 Thank you received: 0	I noticed Chris didn't use fins here. Was this because it was the first time or would fins limit river performance too much? My Marauder is very slippery without fins but perhaps the Short RR is more like a short playboat?

I would have thought that this will make the boat a touch on the loose side but this just means you need to work your edge a bit more. Denzil

Hey Guys! Afraid there is no sciensy technical reason for having no fins, apart from the fact it was hard to get in! lol couldnt get off the bank with the fins in, so had to take them out! As for the performance of the boat, it is just like a surf boat, but shorter, its super fast, performs really well, but definitly needs fins!

And 2ndly, thats the blackwater at a fairly high level, that was it on sunday, around 3 oclock, was reallly nice level! :yes:
