Dagger Outlaw 18 years 2 months ago #12749

Has anyone paddled a Dagger Outlaw, I have heard it is a bit unstable going in and out of eddies.

I have the big brother to the outlaw, the honcho, a loved it. I think it is pretty stable. I loved it as a riverunning boat. Just not enough play ablity

I own a Dagger Outlaw

I really like it.

It's a quite nice riverrunner for III/IV class river

Personally I don't think as an unstable boat.
For sure the volume distribution is more on the frontside, so you have to keep the correct position going in and out of eddies, but this should be the case on any boat.

I just avoid using it on high volume or on greater than IV class river.

For the rest is one of my favourite.
