Hi guys, just want to send an invitation to our multi discipline whitewater event this summer. Trollforsarna Whitewater Challenge, July 4-8.

Set in the fabulous Trollforsarna rapids of the Pite River in northern Sweden, we host a competition including Team Down River Race, Boatercross and Euro Cup 2 in freestyle!

Great paddling, great fun and great experiences are guaranteed.

I'm sorry about having to move the event. The decision was made after several people pointing out that it would be very difficult to make it from EuroCup 1 i Lienz to Trollforsarna in time.

We asked all team managers in Europe about their opinion and all the answers we got favored us moving the event.

Also the new dates put our event in between two major events in Norway (the extreme sports week in Voss and the Sjoa River Festival). Before our event was at the same time as both the Voss event and another major competition in Switzerland.

Hope you can still make it! There is lots of great big water paddling to find up there if you wish. Check out www.forsguiden.com for mor info about other rivers in the area.

Oh well, guess we were just unlucky. Think we will be heading to the event at Voss after a warm up, or cool down in my case (from sunny SA), in Sweden. Depends on Tuomas V :grin:

hehehe... Take life as it comes.

I am aware of the excellent big water out that side of the world. Bloody good. We will probably be heading to northern Sweden and Norway for something more unusual. Some possible first descents. Let's see. Looking forward to it! :bounce:
