I don't know about the 50. I've got the 60 at the moment. Really enjoying it. Check out the little video clip on some fast, pushy water.

Try one, then you'll know. Runs rivers really well. Not bad speed, stable, not too edgy. Playing is pretty good. Needs a bigger wave than a full on playboat to get some air, but otherwise it handles nicely, easy to cartwheel. Very balanced and I can flat water loop it so it's not too long.

The 50 is a great boat. I own one and love it. Rolling it is easy, if you have a good roll. The only thing that I have noticed while rolling it is that most people have a tendency to come up leaning slightly back. I have seen this on all sizes of the EZG. If you clean up your technique a bit, as I had to, and remember to lean forward it is great. I have been in really big water and even in some creeks with squirrley eddies and it performs predictably all the time.

I am a beginner but I have a pretty nice roll. The only boat I have had toubles rollin in is the jackson star since the back is so short so i did end up with back in the water and a little of balance. Will the EZG still be better then that boat(because the back is longet?)

I suppose that it will be a little better. Really the best thing to do is to spend the time working on your technique. When I use good technique in a roll I have not found any boat hard to roll. When I use poor technique there is differences. So I too need to continually work on my roll technique until it is always good technique.

Not too big about 5 ft or so. If you watch any videos of the boat you will see people launching them off of very big stuff though. Limited more by skill than boat.
