hello i was just woundering if you could help me i have got a 07 jackson star
when i tighten the seat up to as tight as it will go it still manages to move backwards so i was just woundering if enny one could help me with this problem

you can get these washers that keep things like that tight i cant remember what there called though just go to your local hardware shop. possibley called spring washers ?

In my experience there is kind of a break in time for the jackson seats. Tighten it every time you get out of your boat for a while, and it will eventually settle in and need to be done less and less until you shouldn't need to tighten it down after one final session where you get it really tightened down.

I learned a simple trick this past winter.

When you have tightend it up to your requirements, press with the tip of your thumbs on the rope and lean back. This helps the rope to settle and lock in.

Has not had problems with it since.
