Not sure what that would be in Aussie dollars with current exchange rate but that's cheaper than i would sell mine for.

But it depends on the condition it's in.
When you say excellent do you mean not a scratch or just no gouges and dings?
How often paddled?
Is all outfitting in good shape?
I know that for mine I could probably only sell it for $500AU (which is probably less than yours) but to me it's priceless and I never would sell it. Mine has a ding in the tail and plenty of gouges though and the air pump don't work no more and the backrest is tied together rather than buckled because of a near death experience a few years ago that shattered it.

( only the rocker on the nose and some real quick prayers saved me.
Overall if yours is in excellent nick I think thats a bargain price. While they aren't a new model they are still an excellent boat with a very comfortable outfitting system and in my experience dagger boat last a hell of a long time and cost around $1800 brand new. So half price for a second hand 1 yr old excellent condition great model boat sounds like a real deal to me.
but thats just my opinion:D
Go Dagger:D
Hope this helped in some way. I tend to

a bit.
