Im totally psyched and want to help. Unfortunatley im only fourteen. Does anyone have any ideas of ways i could help this project along?

Check with your parents and find out how far they are willin to support your participation in this kind of venture.
If you folks support your intesrest, set up a meeting with your School Principle and the School Physical Education Teacher (or teachers) and find out if they are willing to add a a program (whether part of a physical education class, an optional class or extra curricular activity like a club). If you can get the support of your local schools you will have a platform for getting the word out to a wider audience and generate interest from parents who may not be familiar with the sport. This all equates into better fund raising opportunities and sustained interest in this type of project.
What that means to you is more work and more time in the water.

The scouts being your age or younger might look to you as a leader on the project. Your coordination with them would be good initiative. TimmyHo
