Does anyone paddle a solo? How would you compare it to other creekers in durablilty, outfitting, plastic, etc.

I paddle a large Solo. I find the plastic quality on a par and even better than some brands. I've never had any issues with it and the overall build quality is high. You can read my review here:

Of course I'm a little biased. ;) The outfitting is basic but very functional, secure and it works. Nothing that will break when you really don't want it to break  I'm very comfortable in mine.

I've paddled the expedition version and the small but never the medium. Any other questions just shout. Cheers

I have a mate who has one. I've never paddled it so can't talk about how it paddles or how the outfitting is.

However, I'm thinking the boat may be made from the same designs as some of the early Russian submarines. This thing could withstand a nuclear attack! The plastic is very hard, strong and thick! That being said, the boat also weighs a bit too, which might be a consideration if you're planning to do some hike-in trips.

Well, I think most creek boats are pretty heavy. This one is no exception although it's not the heaviest out there. The expedition version is heavier than the normal version but that would be expected.

Creek boats are designed to keep you safe in dangerous water. I wouldn't want a light weight creeker that could potentially fold and trap me or break when you bash against rocks... :skull:

:2cents: ;)
