reno whitewater park 19 years 3 months ago #1905

Hey, im 14 and live in oregon. For spring vacation we were thinking about doing a road trip through eastern oregon down into nevada and back. Im wondering if a stop for a day or two at reno for its whiotewater park woudl be wworth it. I feel extremely comfortable in class three, can do a bunch of different roles, and can cartwheel and want to learn more advanced playboating stuff. Would reno be worth it?

Keep an eye on on a site called dreamflows.com , you can see the flow from here. I live just a few blocks from the Park and would not recomend driving to the park unless the water is around [b:d1112544f7]1200 or higher[/b:d1112544f7]. People do however paddle it at lower flows. You can also ask the same question on the Boof.com forum as others who go to the park have different opinions than mine. Reno is pretty cool being that if the park is "in" there are lots of other cool rivers running in the area too. Kick me an e-mail if I can be of more help.
