As usual the best advice is get in as many as you can and see what suits you. I do nearly all my paddling here in North Wales and have been paddling a Burn (M) for a little over 12 months now and it has been great. I would also check out the Bliss Stick Mystic as that looks like a great boat (cheaper too). A lot of the people I paddle with are using Dagger Nomads some are on their second or third one they like them so much. Not seen anyone at all in a Habitat as yet and the LL Jeff is also very popular among the Bala based Crew.
Chris at Paddleworks (Eddy Lines) has all of these boats and most of them as demos (I think). If you go down there you will be able to demo them back to back on the same piece of water which is always helpful. Have fun!!

What's wrong with your Salto?

Best boat around for steep creeking I think....

demo demo demo (if you can)

the DragoRossi UK guys have demo boats and have takens some good trips over to Wales. Might want to contact them and give the boats a try. The Gangster is most similar to the Salto so would be a good transition for you. but I really love the Mafia...

Lots of good designs out there right now. Trying some out will be fun.

here in quebec, we have 80% riot magnum creeker

i didn't try any other recent creeker, in the past i had a micro 240 and a wave sport y as a creeker

i never try other creeker because i like the magnum, it got enough speed, track weel and can carve rapidly in an eddy, the nomad will got a better speed and will keep it line better but it will not turn like a magnum so you got to have an excellent river reading

the magnum is a middle weight, it got enough volume for me an the river i run in the spring and it not too big or too long for low water creeking during the summertime

my stat:
6'2''
195#
