I have an Ammo. I actually just traded my medium for a large, so most of my comments are based on my experience with the medium. The Ammo is an interesting boat. I think of it as an edgier, shorter version of the Burn. As a friend of mine says, its a good third boat. If I just want to play, I'd rather be in my EZG 60. If I'm doing harder runs or creeking, I prefer my Habitat. But if you want a nice crossover boat that can mix it up, the Ammo is your ticket. Even the medium has enough volume and the right deck profile to punch holes and handle class IV water well. Its got resonable hull speed, it boofs really easily and the flat hull and sharp edges makes it surf pretty good. Granted I find the volume and deck too much for me to get the bow down or to squirt (I'm sure a better paddler than me can cartwheel it). Its also just a bit too long for really steep tight waves. But for a more moderate wave it will tear it up, cut back like a champ, and easily flat spin. I find it behaves similarly in a hole, with good surfing / spinning, but poor cartwheeling. Like the Burn, its also good for rivers that require lots of precise eddy moves or harder ferries. It rolls relatively easy, as you expect somewhere between a totally flat playboat and a rounder displacement hull. I actually had too many boats (if there is such a thing) and just sold my medium Burn and my medium Ammo to pay for a large Ammo. I'm 6'1\" and 185 lbs with pretty long legs and I found the medium Ammo just wasnt comfortable for long days. The large is better and with a Jackson happy seat bag inflated up under my thighs its almost as comfortable as my Habitat. So thats my experience with the boat. Hope that helps.
