Surfing a Creek Boat 17 years 2 months ago #21291

Simple question, can you realistically surf a modern creek boat or does the displacement type hull make it a bit like pushing s&$t up hill? Ie, get an a reasonable river wave, cut back and forth, have a bit of fun whilst on a river trip? Not looking for out and out playboat performance or anything

Cheers

Creek boats front surf awesome. With their speed they can catch green waves no short boat can. On river and creek runs I can catch more waves in my Mystic on the fly then friends in play boats.

Surfing in a creeker is also a very improtant skill for those must make ferries when you end up on the wrong side of that horizon line!

I some how thought that by the time you end up on the wrong side of the horizon line, you must have already fucked up your ferrie and fallen of the edge
