You could look at the Lendal Paddlok. It is made as a spare, but you could also get extra blades later on. www.lendal.com/accessories/paddlok_e_paddle.aspx . Also, you can get extra accessories like a T-grip for canoeing and paddle extensions.

I have had my AT4's for nearly a year now (missus wouldnt let me get Werners after I lost a 2 sets in 2 years). They are a pretty robust paddle - although a bit on the heavy side. Nicely shaped blades and great shaft. My hands seem naturally attracted to the cranky bits. The tips of the blades seem to be wearing out quickly though and I am not sure what will happen when the thin end bits meet up to thicker reinforced part - are they hollow?
For the price though, a great buy.

both of my friends have the at4play and they love them. I personaly dont like them. I dont like the bent saft and how thick it is. Its also heavier then my powerhouse and the blades seem to wear a little faster then i would like.

I have been using the at2 for over a year for everything, inc garde 4-5 creeking playing. I have just got a AT4 for rockier rivers and I find it fine, yes it is heavier than the Powerhouse but thata an extra £40 for the straight version. The blade material is similar to the Watersticks so should last well. My friend has been using an origional AT4 with the carbon shaft for four or five years now no issues and loves them, provenvery durable. All paddles wear down my old set of Players are smaller than my girlfriends Twists.

You are more than welcome to try my At4 out on the Tawe play waves any time of in the surf

Cheers
Chris

I can recommend the AT4.
I've got one with a river blade and also AT3, which they don't produce anymore according to their website. The shaft are super and the weight doesn't bother me at all.

They have replaced the AT3 with the Eddy, a bit more up to date and in a sexy red blade :P
