My 8 year old daughter is growing out of her Fun1 and I am looking for a new boat for the Spring. She is working on the basics, eddy turns, peel outs, ferrys, class 1 surfs. She is going to work on a roll this winter. She paddles once a week during the summer, and is in no hurry, but really enjoys kayaking. I just want her to be comfortable on the water and feel like she has good boat control. I maybe over thinking it.

Does any one have any boat recomendations and how these three boat may perform differently for a young paddler.

Thanks, Matt

You might want to also look at the JK Punk Rocker, Fluid Spice S, and the WS Diesel 60 (2009). Keep in mind that playboats are generally tougher to roll, so she may have a better experience with a river runner/creekboat like the Remix. If she likes the Fun, look at the Fun 1.5 and the 2Fun.
