I picked up my Pro Creeker 3 days ago, and it seems to be extremely well designed. The shoulders are neoprene sewn onto the front and back of the shoulders, but the back slides down, which prevents bunching. The way that the foam is distributed, if you have the front panel facing up, it resembles a podium. I can't leave it fully tightened like I could on my Stohlquist, but I just leave the left side tightened and it works fine. I have had 2 minor problems so far, which is 1) The rubber tab on the retroglide adjustment tore off, but it seems to be merely a decoration and 2) the cord on the zipper pull is fraying some in the middle. Since the zipper pull is just a cord wrapped through the metal piece that is normally on the zipper, it isn't really a big deal (if you have a North Face jacket, it is the same design where the cord is wrapped through the zipper pull). Really comfortable, and provides nearly 17 lbs of flotation. The pocket is big enough to hold 12' of rope, 2 carabiners, and 15' of 1" webbing. I haven't paddled with it yet, but it should be interesting, since on my Stohlquist, the only way to make sure it wouldn't ride up was to have it so tight that it compressed my chest. I prefer Astral for the fit, but because of the Pro Creeker's features, if and when I replace it, I will try to get another Extrasport (If I get a play PFD, it will be the Willis though, but that's why I chose a low profile PFD in the first place).

Terry, also, for the potential zipper blowout, on the Pro Creeker, the QR belt goes across the zipper, which means that you have to release it every time that you put it on, but it also should secure it if the zipper fails, as long as the QR belt is snug against your body.

Hey Ian, I also think, and you could confirm, that if there was to be a "zipper blowout" that all the 1" webbing criss crossed your body and is sewn together lile a climbing harness and attach around the waist? It also looks like a pretty cool sinching system that wraps the body evenly to eliminate the ride up?

The webbing for adjusting the PFD stops right before the zipper on both sides, but if there was a zipper blowout, the QR belt should keep it intact. If you ever see one again, there's at least 3 points where the QR belt is threaded through to keep it in the right spot (2 on side of O ring on back, one on right front, can't think of the others right now). I tightened every strap fully to see how it fit, and I couldn't make it ride up by pushing on the shoulder straps.

For the best pictures, go to Extrasport's site. You can see the front, back, zipper, pocket, and the QR mechanism.
