I am looking at buying a LL Pocket Rocket. I went and checked it out today, and i can fit in it - but only barely. It dosent have knee pads in it and half the padding still hasnt been put in. I am at the very top of the weight range for this boat.
I sat in it for about 10 mins and didnt find it uncomfortable at all, and will take it out into the surf and try it out before i buy.
If i were to buy it, would it matter about the padding?

Matt

It depends where you put the padding. Sit in a rally car for 10 minutes. It feels cool. Then take it down into the forest for 60 minutes at full tilt and see if it needs more padding... :)

If you're at the top of the weight range, I would say, move along. Get something with more volume. The extra volume will make you more retentive on features, give you better pop for aerial tricks and make your paddling experience more enjoyable. :)
