08 Jackson Hero vs. WS Diesel 70 15 years 11 months ago #26363

Hi, I'm looking for a new riverrunning boat and thinking about 08 Jackson Hero or WS Diesel 70. I'm 6' and 160 pounds. Can anyone advise me? I have never ridden on Jacskon or WS.
Thanks

I paddled the super hero for a little while one day. It's amazing how stable the boat is, I have a 4fun. Jackson's outfitting is top of the line and very easy to get setup. They're plastic is super durable as well. I have no experience with the WS.

I paddle a Super Hero, and I love the boat. It snaps into Eddies like a dream, rolls effortlessly, and is very stable. It has really improved my paddling abilities and confidence level.

I have paddled a Wavesport Diesel as well, and while I thought it was a decent boat to paddle, I liked the outfitting much better in the Jackson. I think that Wavesport made some changes to the outfitting and to the Diesel for 2009, but I have not confirmed that. if so, I would be willing to try one out again.
