Any thoughts on these two boats??
I know the S:7 was previously known as the Sub 7 but what are the differences inbetween these two??

the sub 7 was a cross between the inazone and prozone to make a playful riverrunner and one of pyranhas more suceesful boats. It opened the way for the s6 hole boats and the s8 a slightly longer faster comfier play boat which is a good river runner to boot! They dropped the sub in favour of S series only a name change!

The s8 is really nice to paddle cartwheels easily surf far better than the s6 series as it is longer which also lets you carry more speed

The Sub 7has been tweeked as several paddlers were looking for something similar so sevnO came around which is great! My ex kept knicking it off me as it was one of the only boats she found comfy she was 5Ft n around 60kgs,
personally i have found it very fast on a wave great down a river up 2 grade 3-4

hope this helps

the s:6 came in around the same time as the s:8 2003??? just b4 they discontinued the s:7 series! Now they have dropped the s:6/ 8 (well dropped the spec and price) to make way for the sub 7O and 4twenty!

the s8 is an awsome boat its dropped in weight since they got rid of the expensive faff but u can put in all the ratchets if you want to and i believe Up and under in Cardiff have a few S:8 225 on special offer at £449 awsome price for an awsome boat www.upandunder.co.uk/eshop/catalogue/bar...tivity_ID=3&rd=0 they deliver all over the uk 2 or give them a call on 02920 578 579

happy paddlin

You would be suprised. Go ask your local guru for some info. Or go to the shop with a list of kayaks and ask the guy working if there are any that wouldnt be worth the effort
