hey josh,i would say to have a look at the jackson star,u are bang on the ideal weight range for it,i paddle the all star which is the bigger version of the star and it is deffinatly the best play boat on the market,i have paddled project's and rad's but the all star out preforms them all, check it out and try demo one,its still good to try more then one boat so if u get a chance try out a few other playboats to see what u find best.

happy paddling!

Hi

I'm a beginer to and i got the wave sport ZG which is an awesome playboat although it is slightly cramped. Anyway i've heard good things about the Dagger G-force as a good begginers boat. the only down side is it's a bit slow

If you can't find a second hand nemesis maybe try the Fluid Flirt. I paddle a medium Nemesis and have tried various other brands as well but the nemeis is still the best in my opnion. It does really well on both waves and holes.

im not really sure if it is suitable for what you need but i paddle a RAD 175 as my first boat to learn playboating. It is comfortable and small so i find it easier to move around, and as a plus quite cheap.

I have a dagger g-force and im a beginner in the freestyle area!! So far its been great the only downside is the completely crap outfitting im just gonna rip it all out and replace it if theres enough room!!!
The g-force is also very affordable! especially for juniors like me!
