I consider what paddle that will fit to me. Werner's "player" paddle? Or Select's "W1" paddle? The paddle shall mainly be used for playboating.

Do you have any experience with the two paddles? (quality, prize, difference in the face of the paddle, etc.)

i've got a select paddle last year, i mainly creek. i use a w1 sport, w1 ultra and this year a w1Xtrem. The construction process of the selct are very hitech, it's the main reason of the cost so there's not a big difference of pruce between a select paddle made with fiber or carbon. With the selct you've got the prepeg construction it will made the strongest paddle for the weight ratio because prepeg mean that the fiber got only the right amount of epoxy to glued it. Epoxy doens strengthen a paddle it only glue the part together. after 1 one year of creeking my w1 sport (fiberglass) was in very good shape, i change for a w1 xtrem with large blade because it was made for creeking wath i 95% of the time i do.

prepeg paddle won't delaminated and the face of the blade cut trough water easelly.
