Werners hold up for longer in terms of they don't break, I prefer the grip specially as H20's grip when it gets hot the glue melts and the grips start to slip. I also find the weight at the end of the paddles is not a nice feel where as werner the weight feels like its even through out the paddle. go carbon if your going to use werners regularly as the carbon wears down alot less quickly than the glass. i don think the h20 blades wear down that much but then again i've broken 2 sets within 3 weeks of paddling with them, o and the h20 service is shockingly bad. (wouldn't replace either pairs) (just to mention i've never actually gone out and brought H20 but have used them while borrowing a friends paddle to surf with. so have paid out on 2 sets of worthless paddles.) in return i actually paid a little extra and brought my friends some werners due to them being better, both are going strong and being enjoyed.

This was a helpful post, versus the one above. I was thinking of getting a Werner but having trouble deciding between Werner and AT. I like my AT but it weighs a ton, wanted to get something lighter.
