Dagger Kaos @ 230+ lbs in the surf? 15 years 6 months ago #28055

Thinking seriously about the Dagger Kaos (out of country, so impossible to demo), but at just a bit more than 230 lbs now, I wonder how squirrelly the boat is going to be on flat water or paddling through chop coming from all directions. Some old reviews seem to indicate the boat is tippy with heavier paddlers and I don't want to get into a situation like when I bought the Riot Boogie when it first came out. It was absolutely hell to keep the boat stable except when it was surfing.

Now, if there is a better plastic SOT for a heavier paddler to abuse in the surf THAT IS ALSO STABLE on flat water, please let me know. Of course it should also surf like a dream and take all sorts of punishment, like waves breaking over shallows and rocky beaches.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
