Playak.tv used to run on its own server, because it needed some software that wasn't available on the Playak.com server. I spent the last week setting up all this software on our our main server, and moved everything away from the old server.

Some nice side effects for you:

- We have some new features in the playak.tv software. E.g. you can now 'upload' videos from Youtube as an alternative to posting directly to playak.tv. Handy if your videos are on Youtube already and you don't want to upload the big video files again.
- Your playak.com profile photo now shows up on playak.tv as well.
- Your best rated playak.tv videos are now shown in your playak.com profile (there's a new tab called 'Videos').
- New video player with more features.
- Less waiting. The old playak.tv server was a small one, and now we can profit from the big resources of the main playak.com server.

As always when migrating things, I'm preparing for things to go wrong, as I haven't been able to test every single screw in the new system. If you run into problems, please let me know.

Good work as always. Can I make the suggestion that the video does not start playing automatically with audio each time I load the playak website.

I was getting tired of the 'di di di di ' soundtrack of the current video while I was browsing back and forward of the forum.

the autostart was by accident at first, but then i thought i might as leave it on for a while to make sure that every last playak reader actually notices that something has changed

i'll switch that off again next week.
