Hi all,

We're planning to travel to Galicia during this Christmas Holidays

the rough plan is to start from Italy on 26th December and return on 6th January

Does someone has info about levels?

Can you suggest me some links about river info and levels?

We're looking for class from III to V rivers.

We went last year and foud these books very useful. Kayak en Galicia by Andres Sio Gonzales, Portualg Kayak by RUi Calado.

Hello Gange, I'm from the north of Portugal, pretty close to Galiza, and there is some nice rivers here.

If you need any help email me.



The levels now are very nice because of rainy days on last month. But in galiza, the Minho river has a dam, so i dont know about that one.

I would recomend for you right now, upper Vez, Homem, upper Cávado, and some others.

The community here is very small so anything you need we here can talk with each other.

iam from portugal and iam a member of a kayak club near rio paiva. in this moment lots of river have water and its gonna rain a lot.

you can try rivers like Vouga, Paiva, Côvo, Frades, Castro Laboreiro, Mouro, Tâmega, Louredo, Cávado. they are all in Portugal Kayak of Rui Calado

too bad, my boss did not allowed me enough holidays so i'll go paddle in south italy

But other italians are going to travel in portugal, so i'll give your information to them
