Im having problems with the space in my nemesis.. My feet goes numb after 15 min i the boat.. Im 173 cm tall and have the seat at the front posistion and the legsupports are also in the foremost place... are there any other who have the same problem? will moving the seat and leg supports back fix my leg numbness?

Thanks=)

First, try loosening the hip pads or taking them out. Second, try putting a spare hip shim under your thigh and see if that helps. Third, move the seat back, since your legs will be straighter (but don't move the thigh braces). You can alternately move the thigh braces forward for the same results.

This used to happen in my boat a lot as well, but the problem was solved when i bought neo socks that keep my feet warm and now i can stay in my boat for about an hour without numb feet. streching also helps, but if you have already tried and got the advice then go with what cjcc said cus i hear i works for lots of people
i hope you get it sorted :)

Most boats prefer the middle seating position. Although this does depend on the boat, the paddlers' build and his/her preferences. I have all my seats in the middle position, including my Nemesis, except my Element (freestyle surf kayak). Tight hips will cause dead legs. Don't over do it :) Good luck!

Cool, progress is good :) Your rivers never get warm! haha :woohoo: At least you've got loads of high quality options... Sure you'll come right soon with the boat.

I've always had them on my thighs, because it gives more control (wider position. Try putting your knees together and see what happens balance-wise) and is more comfortable. The 09 and older hip pads could get in the way some, but the other advantages are that you can fit in a smaller boat when your legs are wider, and knee blocks are more effective. Plus, if you piton your legs won't flex as much (good or bad, but leaves you in more control).

I have mine where they're most comfortable for me, I suggest you do what works for you :) I think mine are mostly towards the knees though. I'm 6', but I think my legs aren't too long. My knees are on some foam on the hull so moving them to the thighs will not move them wider apart because they have nowhere to go... :) I also put blocks under my knees to support them. Partly to give more control, so that you can pull up on the brace on say the left, and push down with the right knee on the block - giving the best edge control. And partly because I'm quite flexible and my legs become tired holding them in position because otherwise they fall down. Works for me, and everyone I know that has done what I've done. Try it.

In case I wasn't clear on those knee blocks under me knee, this is how all my boats look:
