Fluid's new dry bags 14 years 11 months ago #29570

Fluid Kayaks recently launced our own series of dry bags. Our new dry bags are made from 550gm PVC-coated nylon with thermo-welded seams and are extremely durable. The dry bags roll down and clip closed to form a watertight seal. A convenient carry handle is fixed to the back of the dry bag with two D-rings. An extra two D-rings are fitted closer to the bottom for extra security when fastening.

• The dry bags are available in two colours, gray and orange.
• The dry bags are available in two sizes, 15 litre and 30 litre.

Our international team of kayakers tested the new dry bags on a recent kayak expedition in the Transkei. The dry bags were used and abused during the 5-day kayak expedition of the main Umzimvubu gorge, and we are very pleased to report that the dry bags received a convincing thumbs up.
Enjoy!

These would look so much better with the plain white Fluid logo. Why the outline and border?

It's just a drybag, who cares what it looks like.
The carry handle and the extra d rings - thats a good idea but not sure how you would use the bottom d-rings in a kayak (unless this is meant for rafting applications?).

The logo and its background is a separate piece of material. The gray bag's logo looks different. Rather more D-rings then less.

These bags are dry and really tough. I love the thick material but it's not very stiff so it still forms a nice seal on the opening. The D-Rings are handy for rafting, but for kayaking one can just take a sharp knife and cut then off pretty easily if you want.
