Playboat Recomendations for tall semi-light person 14 years 9 months ago #29828

I'm 6'2" with size 12 feet and around 175 pounds (1.87 meters 80 kilos), and have been paddling a 4 fun for the last couple of years. I like the 4 fun but want something more of a full on play boat. My problem has been finding something I'm comfortable in that isn't made for a heavier paddler. (ie too much volume), I have a ZG54 for a little bit and it almost worked but after half and hour my ankles where killing me. Any recommendations? I'm in the Pacific North West and have access to Jackson, Dagger, Wavesport, Bliss Stick, Fluid, Liquid Logic, Riot, Necky and Pyranha.
Thanks
Tom

I'm 1.87 and weigh 75kg with size 10 feet. I would say go for the Fluid Nemesis Medium, I have the seat set slightly forward of the middel setting and my feet are good. I would suggest that you do not put any padding in the front of the kayak, cut a trianglular piece of foam that comes out far enough to support your heals but leaves you toes free to wiggle when needed.
Have paddled the Riot Astro but it does not have the same comfy-ness as the Nemesis.

A Bliss Stick Rad 180 perhaps? I'm 6'3 with size 12's and 80kg and can just squeeze into one, I don't imagine I could personally get into a much smaller boat, and we're a pretty similar size
