big air ramp construction 14 years 3 months ago #30664

hey guys, im chasing info, designs, ideas on how to construct a big air ramp for the up and coming Australian national freestyle tiltles. we have a venue Aj Hackett Bungy in cairns, they have a large lagoon where they jump into, and we can construct the tower out of scaffoling ontop of their roof and small board walk that faces the lagoon, if any one has any blue prints, designes, tips etc on building a temporary ramp that would be great. (we plan on making it big to)

cheers

sorry no blue prints. Good height for the top would be 4-5m, slide angle should be at least 50deg, biggest mission is to get the lip right. don't let the lip curl to steeply otherwise a lot of energy is transferred into the lip. We have been using ours for 4 years and every year we improve it as we go along, this year we need to build a whole new lip as the floods of the weekend destroyed it.
Good luck and try not to land flat.
