I was paddling Magnum for 3 years, now I'm paddling Raptor and i really like it. Think i like most on the raptor is the plastic which is bulletproof. Also it is very fast and maneuverable, though magnum boofs easier.

I thinking of getting a new creek boat,
currently torn between the habitat 80 and the zet raptor.

Basically, seems the habitat has more sophisticated out fitting

while the raptor is more basic.

Raptor is a touch wider, but has better plastic (i would guess better with that warrenty)

Also its about £80 cheaper once you add in shipping, and another 25 when you add in air bags.

Sadly though being in Ireland, I probably wont see one in the flesh until I order it.

So I was wondering what are they like for footroom?

I have been in a habitat and there was plenty, comfy enough even for a big footed guy like me to wear shoes. (im about a size 12 uk) would this be the case with the zet ?

It is true that Habitat has more sophisticated outfitting. Raptors outfitting is very simple but works well and is very light. Weight of raptor is smaller than other creekboats thanks to simple outfitting. And like i wrote the plastic is amazing.
I think that footroom in Raptor is similar to Habitat so you should fit into it easily.
