For those who want to see the long way Playak has come, this link is fun:
web.archive.org/web/20001018175649/specials.playak.com/ Playak has been around even longer, but before 1998 it didn't have its own domain. It was a part of my personal website, which was on a server that doesn't exist anymore, so 1998 is as far as we can look back. Just wondering what you guys and girls think about the direction on Playak. Anything really important that we're missing out on? Any stuff I did is absolutely useless? I'd appreciate your opinion. I love the Forum and the kayak database
I would like to see a swap place to trade gear and a paddle database, nothing really that I dont use I dont know about anyone else but the the thing i check the least is links but that is it I preety much use all of playak except C-1 and that is because i dont ever paddle C-one |

about 20 hours per week since 1996, and since mid-2002 it's full-time. hint: i'm always looking for enthusiasts who want to help, e.g. with the galleries, newswatch, links, boats database, forums, or even the articles. now before anybody screams yes, be warned that this means quite a bit of work and all i can offer in return is fame  If you're happy, you're successful.

awsome sight, when i cant get on the river i just fantasize and talk on playak. In a message board for gear and stuff would be good. Plus maybe a dividing the spots section into different areas and types, like all the playsopts in a certain are and all the waterfalls in a certain area instead of anything anywhere, which is kind of what you ahve now.
