The Flop-a-roo is this sweet trick I do when I am trying to do a bow stall. Since I'm still learning to do a bow stall, I usually end up flopping over on my head. It must look awesome from the shore, because I always get a crowd of spectaters watching me. Of course they're always asking themselves; "What is he doing?"

If anyone has video of a back loop, I would love to see it. I a starting to work on those, but need a zen master to show me the mechanics.

Bitter kiss gets my vote

I think it is a lunar orbit into a mcnasty.

The loop ia my personal favorite. Also, a macho move ain't bad either :)

-while river running a front loop over the next wave, like you would set up a kick flip or wave wheel. Seen two people do them in real life. EJ and a C1 guy

Why has no one mentioned an Air Screw? That has to be the most impressive move to date...

What is the difference between a Donkey Flip, Air Skrew, and a Pan Am, they all seem to be the same thing to me...

As i know it a donkey flip is on a wave a air screw is off a ramp and a pan am is an inverted blunt from one rail to the other!

Do any of you guys think its not really fair to take two or more moves that have already been established and then to them back to back and call it a new move? It seems to me that people have already mastered rotating on every axis they can, so now the new moves are just combos of old ones. I dont think its fair to call this a new move. I was just wondering what you guys thought.

I think those sequence moves are legit, because they require a modification in between the first and second move. Take a splitwheel for example. It is just cartwheels in different directions, but one must execute a tricky spin in order to make the move work. Plus, unless totally new moves are created, the Bread and Butter, Phonics Monkey, and Bitter Kiss are the only directions in which we can move from where we are right now. Just my opinion.

Well, I think those moves are sweet, but I just dont think we should give them completely new names. Split wheel for example is two cart wheels that are 'split' I think it would be better to combine the names of the two moves that have been combined. Just my opinion.

It has to be old school cartwheeling in a lovely glittery squirt boat much more elegant less thrash than a playboat oh and they were the first boaters to do cartwheels on the flat water back in the eighties, plastic boats almost 10 years behind!

But playboat wise the donkey flip as its so much fun

As much as all these are awesome tricks, I must say, why hasn't anyone pointed out that simple front-surfing is the best move of all time. My reasoning, in no particular order:

It's been around for ages. It's fun on most any feature. You can learn it early in your boating career, so you don't have to be an expert to enjoy it. It takes class to pull off properly. It can be your adrenaline shot, or it can be your relax time, depending on where you are. It's the precursor to almost every other move, conventional or otherwise. It can look way better than any other moves if you've got the soul for it. You can do it on almost any watercraft, doesn't have to be a dedicated whitewater playboat, could be an inflatable dragon (I've seen it). And it's just so much fun.

Re:Best playboat-move? 18 years 7 months ago #8952

These are my favorite moves in their respective disciplines

Hole: Tricky Whu
Wave: Bread and Butter Sequence
Down river: Macho Move
Waterfall: Hail Mary (loop over the drop)

The bread and butter is particularly difficult because of the change in direction while keeping orientated with all the rotaions.
The Hail Mary is in a league of its own, totally Sick, Big-ups to Rush for that one.
My two cents...:D

Good lines and big air
