just looiing for some thoughts on the supersonic, i have possibility of getting one fairly cheap but didn't know much about them, wondering if it's worth it.

don't get a boat based on how cheap it is get it because you like it. it also depends on what you what to do with it Creeking, playboat, or riverrunning.
good beginner boat for 150-220lbs.

Both these guys are right.

If it is near you take it out and ride it around.
I you are just starting out get in and get help to adjust it. Find out if you are comfortable.

That boat is a good start and you can throw it down really well (I am old school and it will play well within the limits of old school moves.

So great start up but and really stable.

But take it out.

As we keep saying: DEMO DEMO DEMO.

If you end up liking it buy it if not there are lots of boats out there.

is this the perception supersonic because I think there is another supersonic, made by robson maybe ? If it is a perception then this is one BIG boat. Nice and friendly to paddle with plenty of legroom and lots of room for kit.I know that I have enjoyed paddling it when I have had the chance to borrow. DEMO !!!
