Riot's astro fit me like a glove, it's high seat gave me awesome torque, it looped huge, cartwheeled easy, and bounced high. For me this is the ideal playboat. Now, I'm not trying to sell you an astro by any means. The astro first of all does not fit everyone that well. What I'm getting at is that when I got in the astro everything I could do came easier to me. That is the answer to your best playboat question. The best playboat is the playboat that you get into and everything you can do, you can do better, faster, higher, bigger
 For me it's the astro, for my friend it's the Crazy 88, another the Fluid Flirt (in smaller sizes). Check them all out, the one that you get into and would rather take a bad swim than not take one home with you is the best playboat for you. |

 I would agree with azplay! There are going to be so many answer, and all of them will be right for that person! I love the King Pin 6.3. Great playboat, solid river runner! Not to mention its won alot of rodeos!! Second choice would be the Disco (never did like getting into one. But it is a boat that I see changed playboats into looping, and arieal machines!! The Disco for five years. Couldn't get me out of that boat for more than a month. I tried everything that came along and just went back to my Disco.
I know that the Stinger is supposed to replace teh Disco. And it does in many ways. It runs rivers as well as the Disco and surely plays as well, with some obvious surfing advantages (and it's shorter too, but still the same speed). But, I have to keep coming back to my Fish as the number one boat of choice. It is the performance evolution of the Disco. Better pop at loops than the Disco. Just as easy to paddle in big water. And oh my god does it every carve the shit out of any wave it can catch. Everything else is just a disco spud copy compared to the Fish!!!!!!!!! |

It has to be The Riot Glide the boat the judges in the worlds had to change the rules because it was the years ahead of the competition! Also taught you to paddle properly and if you were lazy it would give you the biggest spanking of all time but rewarded you well when you got things right.
The Disco for being way ahead again really short boat way before the s6 Gforce etc and still and awsome boat Theres a pattern amerging here! Corran Has managed to change the way people thought about boat designs and keeps pushing it to better and newer boats with dragorosi! You can keep your wavesport dagger userfriendly crap it just dosnt cut the mustard! |
