Hey,

I'm looking for a river-runner/playboat with more emphasis on river-running. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking about a Dagger Juice, or Seven 0, but I haven't been able to demo anything yet. Would anyone recommend either of these (or not?!)?

Check out the bliss stick scud or the dagger rx, its the improved juice. Both play and get down the river, but are completely different boats

Definately check out the Dragorossi Pintail, it's fast, easy to paddle and surfs incredibly well..

Give Carlisle Canoes or Totnes Kayaks a call as they both have the first demo SCUDs in the country.

Check out: www.bliss-stick.com

for their contact details and more info on the SCUD

Cheers guys! Will check out the Bliss-stick, Dragorossi and RX.

Does anyone know anything about the Liquid Logic CR125? My local shop had one in stock last time I was there, but I wasn't able to demo it.

CR a nice boat and a better river runner than the juice rubbish! also why dont you look at the riot booster best specced boat under £500! Personally i paddle the seven 0 s/m and it is awsome on all rivers more balanced volume than the jucie and will still play if your ever around south wales or @ the tryweryn over the summer months then your more than welcome to give mine a try

the cr would be my pick. looks like a boat that could even handle a bit of creeking, while also being able to play well. the jackson fun series is definetely worth a look two.
In my opion, rx is just an old school playboat with a little more volume in the back, not worth it.

Scud looks very good. I think I've narrowed it down to the CR or the Scud, still the Fun looks good too!

Does anyone know if there are any Bliss-stick dealers somewhere in the middle of the country?!

Carlisle Canoes seem to be the only ones up north

Umm ... the North's not really any good either. I live in the Midlands - fairly near Birmingham, hence not wanting to have to travel all the way to Carlisle or Totnes just to demo a boat.

But thanks anyway!

I think I'll head to the Nene or HPP and see what's around!

if youve got it down to those two, then id go with the scud if you like riverrunning/creeking and the CR if you like riverrunning/play.

Thanks!

Don't really do anything more than grade IV, so I'll probably go for the CR.
