I have a WaveSport T3 and really like it for most things but it is just not fast enough and the hull is not loose enough. I am looking for a new playboat and have thought about the ZG48 BUT have heard it is not easy to loop!!
I was just wandering if anyone had gone from a T3 to a diffrent boat and really enjoyed it as I have found that alot of boats are just not comfortable for me as I am 14 st, 6'1" with uk size 10 feet. Boats like the LL Vision 56 sitting position is not comfortable although I have not tried the Bigfoot version. Most of my boating is in holes, but I want a boat that can also perform on waves and feels ultra loose. Any pointers would be good! I am looking at demoing the Crazy 88 and the Flirt! Cheers, Andy |

Sounds like you would be better off thinking about a ZG 54. I've got one and love it. Don't listen to what people say...  'this boat doesn't loop well', 'this boat is slow', 'that boat doesn't get air'... People will always critise a boat that they don't own or have never even paddled before. Hi thanks for that 14st is 199 lb I would love to demo a ZG but my local supplier has not got any demo boats from WaveSport so I can not try one out at my local playspot and I have not seen many people paddling them. The reason I like the ZG is it is very comfortable to sit in and feels very like the T3 BUT the two people who I have spoken to that said it was not easy to loop I believe as one owned one and the other as been to the World Champs several times and has done very respectably!!! Not mentioning any names.......

If you are going to buy a zg then I'd say that at 14 stones I reckon you'd fair out much better in the 54. As for being tough to loop - personally I'd have to say that compared to my Air its no where near as easy to loop, but it is possible - it just takes a bit more effort thats all. As was said before though, your much better off to ignore what people say about a boat and try it out for yourself
