I was just looking over my profile and saw that i had some playak contribution points. What is the point of these points? Fame? Glory? can i cash them in? any one know? first ive heard about them.

thanks adrian. in that earlier topic we (i) mixed up 2 things really. in the end we were talking about user ranks in the forums, which only depend on the number of forum posts a user made.

playak contribution points are independent of this. you get them when you submit articles, galleries, article comments, forum posts etc. currently, we count them, but don't use them in any defined way :) i just use them to decide how much i like each user :D

that may change one day, but i have no short-term plans.

there is a web site that has contribution points. They use them for Gambleing games (all fake money) betting on things ( again fake money) or things of that nature. not saying that is a good or bad thing just what one web site does.

not really just saying the contribution points could be redeamed for like viewing videos or you can put them in other persons stash then have a auction at the end of the year using the fake money for schwag like stuff that is donated by kayaking Companys

yeah i gotcha, the stuff about gambling was said in jest, hence the :roflol: I like the idea of an auction tho, that would actually be sweet.
