Hi everybody,

I'm Fred, a french paddler and I planned to go to Australia for a job in Canberra.
I want to know if there's some good playspots or good rivers in the NSW or near the ACT. :ask:

Is there any pleasant clubs in this part of Australia which will help me?
I was in Penrith for the world's freestyle championship, it was great but I want to see more of this giant country ;-)

Otherwise, is there any forum like playak.com or eauxvives.org in Australia?

Hi mate. There are a few good rivers around Canberra. Most of the Australian Paddlers use the Adventure Pro Website which is www.adventurepro.com.au
For all the latest info on the rivers go into the Wetspot store Canberra and have a talk to Mick. He knows all down there.

The only place that you can get consistant whitewater is at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium, but there are some amazing rivers in Canberra, Tasmania and Cairns.
