Anybody had good success retrofitting a Jackson kayak with a 'real' backband?
I find the jackson seat back too low, too soft, and would prefer something much more solid, higher on my back and perhaps tight-n-able with some mechanical advantage - a rachet system or similar?
Any thoughts out there? :?: :ask: :stop:

just rip it out and get yourself an immersion Research ratchet system, thats hard enough, and has a ratchet system, you will need to drill a few holes though
