My shop is looking at picking up a new line and I have been asked to do some research and come up with some suggestions for us to demo. So I was hoping to get Jackson reviews here. I would especially like to here if there have been any problems with the boats or the manufacturer. Please this is not to bad mouth them just so that we have some input from those who may have been there. Please be realistic about how you may have contributed to the bad experience. Thanx.

There are a bunch of posts about jackson kayaks on this sight if you do a little didding, most of them positive. Personally, i think there sweet, got a nice linbe of boat for every size and the fun series(only one ive tried) padlle r4eally well, i love them. i dont know a bout how good ej is with warranties and replacemnet and stuff like that but i bet hes pretty nice a bout it. My two cents.

Great boats made by great people. I had a 2Fun and every one of my friends who'd been in it absolutely loved it. It has been the easiest boat for anyone getting into the sport to learn and progress on. I was teaching a friend how to roll one day, he was having troubles getting my wavesport ez around so I busted out the 2fun and he was up "effortlessly". He liked it so much he bought it from me and I now have a ws project 45 (freakin amazing). Anyone who'd been in the 2fun and rolled it has commented on how easy it is to roll and forgiving it had been on the water.

My m8 has a jackson super star its amazing he has this years current model and have found nothing wrong with this amzing playboat. How ever my other m8 had last years all star and the seat snapped out (no1 nos how). Jackson were so good they took the old boat and gave the new up to date version free of charge!!
On all jackson are wicked one of the best around keep up the good work!! $@YC£ |

I know that there are a bunch of Jackson posts. I was just hoping to here if there have been any bad experiences. I suppose if none get posted then that is a good indicator of how Jackson is to deal with. |

My local shop in Fresno, CA wanted to bring in the Jackson line. Needless to say, I was stoked. Then Jackson told the shop that they had to bring in one of each of it's boats for sale, and then have one of each of it's boats to demo. My local shop doesn't sell that many boats in a season, so chose not to go with them. Bummer.
I have have 3 jackson boats, and had to buy them all at a shop out of town. I kind of feel bad, because I would rather have given that money to our shop. Oh well. To sum it up. Jackson's are great boats, but your shop better be ready to commit. Good luck. |

thats weird, there are several shops arond here that dont carry the whole jackson line. they would let the shop only get the fun series, or the star and the fun sereies only?

I know that Salt Lake is coming up and I have asked the owner to enquire as to the buying commitment from Jackson. I will post it when I find out (in about 3 weeks).

Yeah, that's just what the shop owner told me. He also said Jackson has 2 programs, one for shops that only carry Jacksons, and one for shops that carry multiple brands.
