Trying to move into more of a play boat thats easyier to throw around. Would luv to hear the pros and cons of the two.

I went through the same thing, RR/playboat or full on playboat. I went with the Superstar. I am gald I did. For me, I wanted to progress more in my playboating, then my River Running. So I went with a Play boat over a RR/Playboat. Since then, I have takien it down class IV rapids with no problems, and it plays like no other.

It's your choice and kind of a tricky one, because the Fun series all play very well, and the star series can go down any river the Fun series can. So it's a win-win situation. The biggest difference is that the Star plays better. Good Luck!:cursing:

Thanks for the input, was wondering what your weight was? I'm 185 lbs., according to the jk website I fall between the Star and the All Star. I was surprised to see the difference in the vol. 51 vs. 60 gal. :?:

I'm a big boy at 220, so the Super Star was my only choice. They say get the smallest boat possible, for playboating, but if you're going to be running a lot of hard rivers, I would recommend the All Star.

Thanksa again, thats the boat I was leaning towards anyhow. Now I just need to sell my Riot Booster 50... any takers, new this season.:dance:
