hi guys,im looking for anyone to go paddling with on the weekends and to teach me more.if anyone is in the staffordshire / west midlands area and can help please get in touch.

have you tried looking for any local clubs they normal run weekend trips

tried that but only 1 local club that goes white water and they are packed to the brim with members.

That's so weird.. Full? We don't even have one kayak club in the whole of South Africa. We supposedly have one here in the Cape but I don't even know anyone who is a part of that. Kayaking here is a lot more uninhibited if I can call it that. We don't have any star ratings or anything like. Just a bunch of guys get together and paddle whatever they want. Simple. I guess things are a lot more organised and structured in Europe and that's great but it can also have it's disadvantages.

thanks buddy,its all down to club sise,facilities and instructors etc.the problem i have is i wanna start to be a bit more adventuous and going into bigger water but im gonna need someone to learn from.sounds like a move to south africa for me then lol.
