which kayak? poor student 14 years 9 months ago #29775

I'm 20 and studying outdoor ed, looking for a really cheap boat, white water/ surf kayak I am 6ft1 and 75kgs and unfortunately dont have very much of a clew. Seen quite a few Dagger Gforces around but been warned they seem a little flimsy. Very open to suggestions preferably less than 200 quid, i know it aint much but I'm a poor student. Cheers guys

Not sure what they go for on the second hand market over there by you but have a look at the Fluid Flirt (older model playboat so they should be available on the second hand market) or even a wavesport X.

I am one of those people with a g force available for sale and its american import so bit of higher spec eg pump up hip pads and full plate foot rest this boat has seen me well and is still more than sturdy and happily let anyone test paddle first

Wavesport X is a good choice, or the Big EZ from Wavesport too. Both should be around for good prices. Or you can go shorter like the G-Force as you mentioned.

I have a necky switch for sale, it was my first boat and i am about the same height and weight as yourself. Its a good all round boat. I have done my level 3 assesment in it, paddled grade 4 rivers, and it surfs and plays like a trooper. Last week I did my 4* surf training in it, hense the resson to sell, so i can get a surf boat. I would like around £300 for it. If your interested let me know i am based in the south west.
