to be honest, i think only you can tell...

unless you give us a lot more info about the situation, such as: \"i am swimming most of the day\" or \"i keep running all those big waterfalls with a big grin on my face\".

:)

I'm about 67kg and love the CFS. Granted, it takes quite a bit of padding, particularly around the hips, and I get the footblocks right up (I'm about 5'10\"), but I find it a great boat.

What issues are you having with it?

it's not very easy to turn this kayak. i think the seat puts me too inside. because i'm very thin and the kayak has so much volume that i think it difficults my way out of the boofs(i don't no if is called like this...the \"washing machine\"). the rivers i used to do are between IV and V, they are small rivers! forgive me my english it's lousy.

Have you tried padding out the cockpit well? Big hip pads? You could raise the seat a little with foam… What height are you?

Because of it's round hull you need to give it loads of edge when turning, so you might find it difficult to turn if you've been used to paddling something with a flatter hull…

If you're having a turning problem in this boat it's either your outfitting or poor technique. Simply enough this is still one of the easiest creekboats to turn, and a good boofer. If you like low volume creeking few match this boat. For big water performance few paralell how poorly it does. In short is a great full on creeker, but not a river runner at all.

Although on the river running side of things, if you are good enough it goes, Dustin Knapp paddled it down the Grand Canyon of the Stikine in Aerated, but it's certainly not the boat I choose for rivers.

i was used to small kayaks, very easy to turn and could stop almost any where. i've got other friends way better than i and they experienced the same problems i'm getting. never the less this boat allows me to do harder rivers than before.

Well it's going to paddle different than a playboat, but taking creekboats as a hole, this one turns easier than most. Try a Gus or even a Nomad, both much harder to turn boats. Try using duffek strokes and bow draws instead of trying to rudder this boat. Longer boats require longer strokes to, generally where you can get away with a short, quick sweep on a playboat you'll need a longer sweep on a creekboat. Leaning hard on your turns will help a lot in this boat to, the edges are minimal but if you lean about 45 degrees it will turn and cave a lot better.

I found a used CFS, i'm thinking to buy it.
What about speed and hole punching?
My current creek boat have some lacks in keeping the line, i think CFS, since it is rounded and has those 2 small rails shold be better.

Ciao
