Does anyone have one? what r they like to paddle? compaired to others?

i've demo'd several creekers myself looking to buy but only on flat water! all of which seem good boats (Nomad, Java, M3, H3) however i just cant make my mind up has anyone used any of these boats (espesially the java) on rivers? how do they handle? what r they like to carry?

All views welcome good or bad.

Cheers,

Mikey.

I own an M3 and I've paddled a Java a good bit. I think the Java is a really good boat. Honestly, the only boat i would shy away from on that list would be the H3. I have a thing against flat bottom creekers. All of my creekers need to be round hulled. Anyway, I won't go into that one. The M3 is a really awesome boat. It holds a line so well. It's semi-planing. For me, I take a few paddle strokes and the boat zooms up to speed and it can punch anything. It boofs really well and it's a very reliable boat. At least for me, it took a few times down the river for me to get used to it. It felt a little out of control for me when creeking technical lines at first, but after that, I learned to edge the boat and carve around when running stuff and the boat has been awesome. The java is very similar to the M3. The M3 is a bit wider and has sharper edges. I chose the M3 because I preferd the bow on it. You would be happy with any of the boats you chose though. Honestly, a person has to paddle a boat for a few times on the river before they get a feel for it. One demo is no where near enough.
