Pure. Pure is the word that was the inspiration for our new river running series, The Mambas. Pure enjoyment of whitewater kayaking. Pure confidence found in a hull that is easy to roll, performs crisp eddy turns, provides REAL hull speed and has outstanding initial stability. Pure fun in having a kayak design to open the doors for new paddlers. Pure exhilaration for a boat that tackles technical big water. Finally, we deliver a Pure - Simple - and very light outfitting system that allows the Mamba paddler to create a perfect fit that provides consistent performance and control. The word is Pure and the Mamba delivers.

If you're happy, you're successful.

Dagger Mamba 8.0 18 years 4 days ago #31156

Can this be true? Only 217 liters for the medium sized Mamba? Or has Dagger done a mistake here?

It's mistake. I sit in Mamba 8.0, and it has a lot of room. I'm 1,78m and 75 kg.
There is reliable spec:

btw This is GREAT boat :notworthy:

Thanks! That sounded like a more reliable spec. I know it's a great boat and I might get one one of these days!

It's a great boat. God river-runner and works excellent on creeking.
Easy to boof, the rails make it easy to turn, but not that easily affected by the river.
Outfitting is easy to adjust. And with the creeker outfitting is the seat really comfortable.

I'm 182 cm, 78 kg and have the 8.0 version.

Cheers,
øivind

I agree with Øivind. Tried out the 8.5 version this summer and liked it a lot. Very comfy, super stable and easy to roll. It even surfs the smallest waves.

I´m 178 cm and 82kg and I loved having this much volume.

Had a Mamba for about a year now. Tried 5 other boats(RPM, 2 Burns, Remix, and a Jefe), the Mamba fit me best. I am 5'9", 170#(yes, I'm American!). I love this boat. Only problem, is it sits a little low aft. Paddles best when the seat is moved as far forward as you can comfortably get it. Excellent primary stability, turns well and surfs easy.
