The Ammo is a boat with many uses. Some will play in it, some will run tight technical lines in it and some will do some real new stuff! Whatever you use it for its short length, tight carving rails and plentiful volume will provide a super responsive river running package that will boof and run lines you thought you'd never make. Its flat hull will still surf and carve up a wave too so it's the true all-round river freerider!

If you're happy, you're successful.

Re:Pyranha Ammo M 17 years 10 months ago #16016

This is my first year in paddling (in my 5th month and it would be my first kayak, so take this for what its worth) I find it very fast and easy to paddle. The outfitting is very nice, but the rope and rachet straps break fairley oftin, but the time to fix the few small problems I've had was very minamul. Ive taken it down lll+ and lV and plan on doing a little class v in the summer and I've had no problem with rolling (which I've been doing alot of) but I have paddled some of my friends boats and find them much simpler to role. I love to boof and this thing is mucho-i-boof (meaning it boofs like a dream and loves to punch through holes)

The color red/black is just so beautiful and the small size of the boat lets me go were my better paddling friends cant get to in there 8 foot creek boats. If and when I need a new boat Im going to get the same thing again. I love the boat and most of myfriend keep talking about how much they want one after paddling it a few times

hope this helps

I've recently bought an Ammo and must say I really like it. The only thing I don't like is the seat (I miss my Wavesport fittings!), which feels a little short.

Haven't had chance to try on anything serious yet, but feels like it will handle it really well.

Am on the look out for a playboat now too. Am 6'2\" and about 85kg. Was toying with an Allstar, but I think it's just a bit too small, whereas the Super is too big (sold my EZG60 as it felt too big for me).

Thinking about a ZG54........any ideas ?
