Any one know much about this boat??? Paddled it?? I am 183cm and 90kg.. Looking for a new playboat. Thinking Nemesis Medium or Project 62. Seems to be a fair bit of volume difference though my weight is within manufacturers range in both. Project is longer so I will assume it is faster???? Paddling in Western Australia, we have limited white water though we do get OK features in winter and paddle heaps in the surf (Ocean).

Any thoughts would be appreciated....

If you're in the ocean a lot, how about the new Fluid element?

I've tried the small Nemesis prototype. (there was only a small and large there that day) I'm about 85kg and 183cm. Yes, it was a tight fit. I'm getting the medium and I'm sure it will be great! The boat blew me away.. :-) Even though I only paddled the small it was far more retentive in a hole than my wave sport Zg54 and smoother cartwheeling. It felt faster and more responsive too.

I've tried two Element prototypes too, not the production version. :-( Once on a river wave and once in some very big surf. It was the fastest, loosest and most radical kayak I'd ever tried. The proto I tried was incredibly unstable but I believe the rails were modified further to increase stability. (although that wasn't the only reason, I think) My mate, who is 6'6\" fitted into the Element while I was on holiday at the sea. I was quite surprised. If you can, try them both out. You will like them no doubt, and you're in the perfect weight range. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

If you have any more questions on them that I can't answer, ask Scottyr. He has more experience with the Nemesis. Cheers

Luckily for you Finnatic you are almost the same size as the boats designer Celliers Kruger, so the medium should be perfect for you. Furthermore, the release for air on the Nemesis is unreal - just give one a try on a wave and you'll see what i mean.
I guess what i'm trying to say is Demo, the boat may be for you or it may not but i have a feeling it will be just right.

You're welcome to PM me if you want some complete biased comments about the Nemesis.

Cheers

At last I have some photos of the production version. I picked mine up from the factory on Saturday. Check it out:
