Looking for 'Super Smooth X Play?' S8 is designed for super fast surfing & carving, big dynamic blunts & hops, loops and super smooth impressive vertical sequences. Use it on waves of any size, and in deeper, bouncier holes for smooth modern dynamic action. Available in two sizes: the '225' for medium to large paddlers and the '235' for large to extra-large paddlers.

If you're happy, you're successful.

Is this boat any good for the occasional river run????

I'm new to the sport, very interested in river running but, unfortunately, not to many river runs located near where I live. I do live near a few fantastic waves and would like to kayak as often as possible.

I will go, as often as I can, river running though.

Would this be a good all around boat for a beginner like me or should I stay away???

Thanks.

I know this boat is not classified as a \"runner\" but, I'm asking because I'm at my first buy and I have the chance of getting this almoste new (as in used 3 times in a pool but, didn't liked kayaking...) with ALL the equipement (carbon ergonomic paddle, life vest, sparay deck, carbon hekmet, throw rope, knife...)

All for CAN $699, it was bought by a rich guy and since he doesn't realy care, he cuts me a good deal.

Heck, I tought to myself, after seeing the price of the paddle & helmet alone(new), that I could buy it and if the boat is not up to code, resell de boat and I will make money to buy an other boat and the rest of the equipement would end up being free.

Just a newbee looking for pointers & advice...

Thanks.

Alex.
